A Butcher's Lesson

Gather Animal Fat and turn it into Cosmetic Fat at the crafting bench.

How's that butchering going, champ?

Don't forget, Animal Fat becomes Cosmetic Fat.

What's the hold-up? Afraid of a little fat?

Great! Remember, hunt for Wolves, Boars or Turtles and butcher them.

Well done! Now, see how that wasn't so hard? And look what you've learned!

You still have one more test before you can call yourself a real butcher though...

You want to learn about butchery?

Out here, surviving isn't just living. It means knowing your way around a butcher's blade too.

Wolves, Boars and even Turtles - they've all got Animal Fat. Well, in most cases.

Take down those animals, then butcher them to collect Animal Fat. Process this fat into Cosmetic Fat on the crafting bench - it's nothing to it.

Wolves mostly stick to the Westwind Woods. As for Boars, you can find them in the woods too, but they also wander around the Sunweave Glade and Skylight Grasslands.

Turtles? They're just about anywhere if you have the eye for it. But not all carcasses are fit for butchering though - that's a skill you'll be learning on the go.

If you're pretty green, I would try to stick to boars for now.

Backing out? Well, the wilds aren't for everyone.

No trouble. Just remember, survival skills are key out here.

Changed your mind? It's alright, not everyone's cut out for the hunt.
