Howdy!
Hey there, cowboy! Don't tell Maxwell I called you cowboy.
Yo!
Salutations!
Bless up!
Bring anything good?
What are you smoking?
Peace, mate!
You can work on Cloth, Composite Material, Organic Gel, and Natural Oil. And, let me tell you, the Natural Oil is fantastic for your skin.
You want to get fully certified in herbalism?
Perfect, mate. My skin is crying out for a Natural Oil face mask.
You can find Hazelnuts hidden in the bushes around here. If you could find some and turn them into Natural Oil, you'd truly make my day!
Not only would it help my poor skin, but it's also a great way to learn about Herbalism.
Oh, that's unfortunate. But it's fine, I totally understand.
No worries. Maybe some other time then?
Nah, fully operational here.
No jobs for now, just relaxing.
All good here, no quests for you.
Need a little favour, if you're up for it.
Sure thing, could do with some assistance.
Yeah, got a small quest for you.
One day I decided I’d had enough of the sterile cubicles and the artificial screens. I packed up my computer and hitched a ride to Goldenfield and met Maxwell.
Fresh air, clean code, and plenty of joints of the good stuff.
Goldenfield? It's paradise, mate! Especially looking up at Maxwell.
I came here to get away from the Quaddari, but now they're coming right to me.
Well, I was - thanks to the artifacts popping up around here, folks from all over are showing up.
Living the dream, cowboy!
So how about it? Up for a little adventure, cowboy?
That's where this plant, the Transparent Leaf, comes in. It's not just your average psychedelic - it gives a massive focus boost. Turns the jungle into a zen garden.
The logic's all tangled up, like vines in a jungle. Which makes it kind of exciting. But crikey, do I need a focus boost to untangle it.
It's what you get when folks don’t use Test-Driven Development from the start.
I've got this project. It's a spaghetti code monster, a real Hydra. Fix one bug and two more appear.
Oh, you want to learn herbalism? Far out, mate.
Aye, it's the wild west out there.
No problem, happy trails.
Bummer, guess I'll keep spacing out.
Now, about fetching those leaves. You won't find them at your local plant nursery. I hear they grow on some rare trees in the woods around these parts.
Just near my place, you'll find a crafting bench. That's why I chose this spot, mate.
There are lots more in Windreach Woods and Dusktide Forest, but I don’t go there - those places make me uneasy.
I usually search bushes in Skylight Grasslands and the Sunweave Glade.
Petrified Spikes are really rare! They're prickly little buggers. And if you ever come across a Rainbow Snail, they're super rare around here.
Blue Lotus, Six-leaf Clovers, Carnivorous Plants, and my personal favourite - Magic Weeds. They're not as common, though.
You can get a whole lot of different things - Hazelnuts, Jute, Silkworm Caterpillars, Fragrant Roots...
That's a tip for dating too, attractive one.
And let me tell you, the older and larger the bush, the more valuable the resources it conceals.
Bushes come in three tiers - Thick Bushes, Old Bushes, and your mothers! No, I'm joking. Ancient Bushes.
You'll be dealing with stuff from enormous, dense Kwalat bushes. These beauties are like whole ecosystems.
It can be quite frustrating, but the uh... special herbs around here help.
Seeing that you're new, I should share something I discovered recently - Herbalism. It's absolutely brilliant, mate!
And the best part? I do it whilst lounging under the open sky, getting high on nature's own... gifts.
I still code, more out of passion than necessity. I work remotely on fascinating projects, but on my own terms.
I traded the hum of servers for the whisper of the wind, the virtual reality for the lush reality.
I'll make sure your efforts are well rewarded!
It's like living inside a Rob Boss painting while Maxwell lives within me.
Used to be a tiny cog in the giant tech machine of Qaddari, crunching code until the early hours.
They call me Nia Sundance.
Not your thing, is it? That's all right. Peace!
So for now, I'm just surfing the cosmic waves of code and consciousness.
And trust me, Natural Oil is pure gold. It's like a hundred spa treatments in one tiny bottle!
And hey, dating tip: the older and larger the bush, the more valuable the resources it conceals. Just ask Maxwell.
