Weaponsmithing Teacher
Dialogue
Ready to blow something up?
Ready to make things go boom?
Guns up, punk!
Hey, gunner!
Aim, shoot, profit!
Got your gear, hotshot?
Lock and load, baby!
Don't sneak up on me, portal-breath!
Did Martha send another test target?
My guns are better and cheaper than Hank Granger.
No worries, though. Let me know if you change your mind.
Well, isn't that a kick in the teeth.
I guess you're not up for some explosive fun. A pity.
Once you've got those, you can use this recipe to craft the launcher. Bring it back here when you're done and we'll have some fun!
That's why I need you to craft an Assault Launcher for me.
I've already put together the attachments, but I need a launcher to test them on.
The client wants some nifty enhancements - a red dot sight, thermal imaging scope, and a recoil-resistant handle.
So here's the deal, I've got an order for an upgraded launcher.
You want to learn? We'll do it on the job.
I've got my hands full with these guns. But thanks for offering.
All set for now, shooter. Check back later.
Everything's tickety-boo, but I'll give you a shout if I need anything.
All quiet on the western front. Check back later, yeah?
I've got a task that'll test your mettle. And your metal.
More like I need a trigger finger.
Blimey, I've got a list as long as a sniper rifle.
By the way, want to buy a gun? You look like you aren't packing.
But hey, more customers for me, right? Keep them coming, I say.
We've got everything from lowly peasants to high-tech aliens wandering in looking for artifacts.
Goldenfield was a sleepy town before that portal opened. Now, it's an artifact gold rush.
Plus, the Elan government's all for arming the newcomers. They either survive out here, or sign up for the army.
That nice lady across town, Martha, helped me find myself when I showed up.
Life's been a blast since I ended up here. Get it? Blast, because, well... Never mind.
As you get more practice, you'll understand more.
The better the quality of the weapon, the more chips you can install to enhance it.
However, advanced chips deplete their charge when activated and need to recharge afterwards.
Basic chips add small effects, while advanced chips offer more substantial benefits.
There are two types of chips - basic and advanced.
Chips add various effects to your weapons, making them more versatile.
If luck's on your side, you might just craft a weapon with top-tier DPS and Attack Speed.
Every weapon has unique attributes because a recipe isn't a strict blueprint.
You can procure all these from gathering professions or through resource recycling.
You might also need some other resources - both common and rare.
Weapons are made from recycled materials like Iron ingots, Treated Wood or Leather.
Weaponsmiths craft all kinds of weapons and chips for them.
If you're sticking around, you need to learn a thing or two about weapon crafting.
No creature is too big or too small for my firepower.
I used to be an engineer back in my world, now I craft weapons for the newcomers here.
They call me Ratchet. I'm your friendly arms dealer.
Apart from the occasional monster attack, I’d say things are good.
You’ll need Iron Ingot, Amber, Leather and 2 pieces of Jewellery Wood. They’re a bit uncommon, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
You know where to find me.
Spend your money with me, forget about Captain Boomstick.
