JOURNAL

Madame Mirage
Steppe, Western fort.

Collect Conductive Bones from the Hyena Alpha, Elastic Bands from the Scolopendras. Deliver the items to Zeke Thompson at the Northsteppe Fort to the east.

Notes

You need to fetch the Conductive Bones from... hm, the Alpha Hyena, yes? The Elastic Bands from those wiggly Scolopendras! A child could do it! Take the items to Zeke. He's at the Northsteppe Fort to the east.

Dialogue

NPC

Feel free to stay; I could use a bit more help.

NPC

But I'll still need a couple more parts.

NPC

With these materials, I can get that respawn gizmo sorted faster than a hot knife through butter!

NPC

That explains why some of those folks aren't coming back quite right.

NPC

Well, butter my biscuit! The revive beacon is down?

NPC

Hello, mate! Did you bring me those shiny bits from the front?

NPC

Very good! I have no need for assistance from anyone who cannot recognise brilliance!

NPC

Come on! Off you go! The safety of the Bastion depends on my brilliance and your swift return!

NPC

No? Hmph! I shall succeed without your insignificant help!

NPC

Bah! You refuse the privilege of aiding the great Madame Mirage? Your loss!

NPC

Ah, magnificent! You are fortunate to aid someone as talented as me!

NPC

Excellent. Every moment counts against the encroaching Flesh.

NPC

May your journey be swift and your efforts fruitful.

NPC

With these items, Zeke Thompson can fix the beacon! But he's in another fort. The Northsteppe Fort?

NPC

Hey there! Got something interesting for me?

NPC

If it isn't my favourite parts scavenger!

NPC

Fetch the Conductive Bones from the bumbling Alpha Hyena, and Elastic Bands from those wriggly Scolopendras. Take the materials to Zeke Thompson at the Northsteppe Fort.

NPC

So now, I need you to fix the respawner beacon, yes?

NPC

And er... there are some claims that I'm a fraud! No...

NPC

You see, I am, er... having some magical troubles bringing back the dead.

NPC

I'm happy to assist Brother Thad! However, I require some... minor help first.
