Dialogue
What now...
Yeah, yeah, alright.
You again?
Hmph, greetings.
Oh, it's you.
Well, look who it is.
Been around longer than most, settlin' this place when it was nothin' but wild.
Built Riverrise from the ground up, brick by brick, with folks from worlds you can't even dream of.
My memory's a bit fuzzy on where I started, but my tales more than make up for it.
Spend my days here, puffin on cigars and spinnin yarns for anyone who ll listen.
And of course... watchin' those girls do their work.
Ah, you know, just tryin' to keep my bones from turnin' to dust.
Keepin' my spirits up with cigars and stories, though the stories get darker every day.
The world's gone mad, but a fool like me? I just keep watchin' it spin.
Nights are long, days ain't much better. Just tryin' to make it through one more.
Welcome to paradise, newbie.
One day, I'm sittin' on a crate, puffin' away, and the next some bright-eyed inter-universe traveller asks if we need a bar.
So we threw together this bar yard with scraps from who-knows-where.
Hell, the bar stools? Probably made 'em out of alien junk and the bones of a few interns.
Every nail in this place has a story, mostly about how I nearly smashed my thumb putting it in.
But hey, it's home now. Pull up a stool and buy a drink the 'ambience' is free.
Oh, please, don't trouble yourself.
I wouldn’t want to ruin your day with my problems.
Pfft, help? As if you could handle my kind of trouble.
Ah, I've got it covered, wouldn’t want you to break a nail.
Your heroics can wait, I’m good for now.
Don’t worry about me, I’ve survived worse without help.
Oh, you wanna help? Knock yourself out.
Sure, why not? Misery loves company.
If you're lookin' to make a mess of things, I've got just the spot.
Yeah, yeah, if you think you can handle it, be my guest.
Go ahead, hero, impress me.
Help? Ha, sure, if you're desperate for punishment.
Name's Grizzly O'Brien, though I doubt it matters.
