Privacy Policy

corepunk.guide does not collect personal information unless you sign in.

Sign-in

When you sign in with Discord, Twitch, Steam or Google, the site keeps the account ID that service gives it, the display name it shares and the profile text you write. The site keeps no password. It keeps the email address the service gives it (Steam gives none) to contact you about your account. For Twitch it also keeps the sign-in tokens, encrypted, to check every hour that the Twitch account still allows the sign-in, and deletes them when it does not.

What you save or post

While you are signed in, the site keeps what you save or post with your account: builds, crafting plans, favorites, progress, comments, ratings, corrections and screenshots.

Analytics

If analytics scripts are loaded, they measure general traffic such as how many people visit. They are not used to track you as a person.

Assistant apps

When you use this site's app in ChatGPT or another assistant, the assistant sends this site the tool it calls and that tool's inputs: a search phrase, an entry kind and name, a language and a result position. The site uses them only to answer that request and does not store them. The request carries no account, so the site cannot tie it to you.

Server logs and retention

Every request, an assistant app's included, is recorded in the web server's access log: the sending address, the time, the requested path, the response status and size, the referring page and the client name. Access logs are deleted after 15 days. Your account and what you saved or posted stay until you delete them or ask for their deletion.

Your choices

You can delete what you saved or posted from your account page. To learn what the site holds about your account, or to have the account deleted, write to [email protected].
