Logging Teacher
Dialogue
Stay sharp, newbie!
Fancy giving the lumber life a go?
What can Zogar do for you?
Greetings, rookie!
Got wood? No, seriously. Do you?
G'day, sapling!
Putting down some roots?
If you're very lucky? Neon Mushrooms or Blood Honey. That's the treasure trove!
Some of these can be processed into other items like Silica or Paper at the crafting bench.
That's logging for you. Now go and get some wood!
Your task is to fetch me some Tree Roots. They're one of the many resources Dry Trees provide.
Once you've got Tree Roots, the bench will help you turn them into Jewelry Wood.
Not the most thrilling task, but it covers the basics!
But remember, plenty of critters lurk around and won't take kindly to you chopping their homes.
As a novice, Skylight Grassland, Sunweave Glade, and Dusktide Forest are your best bets for finding Dry Trees.
First, you need to understand the true nature of the forest.
Trying to learn logging, outworlder?
No help needed, mate. But grab a beer, why don’t ya?
Appreciate the offer, but I've got it sorted.
I'm all good for now, thank you very much.
I could use a hand, if you're not afraid of hard work.
Ready to get your hands dirty, recruit?
I wake up, chop some morning wood, drink some ale, chop more wood. It's a simple life.
I've still got my hands full with those pesky dwarves and their messy digs.
Ever tried arguing with a dwarf about environmental conservation? It's like talking to a stump! And looks like one too!
Goldenfield? Ah, it's a quaint little town, got everything a lumberjack needs.
Wood to chop, beer to drink, and a dwarf to mock. What more could a bloke ask for?
Just keep your eyes peeled for the portals. You never know what kind of craziness they'll spit out.
Sure thing, I've got a job for ya.
Now, I teach outlanders the magic of the wood. It's all about respecting its gifts.
Seen more combat than there are trees in the forest. Found a change in timber.
I'm Zogar. Former soldier, current lumberjack. Simpler life with less gunfire.
Ah, well. Back to my one-man logging operation.
Some folks just ain't cut out for the lumber life.
Oh, never mind. Bet Thordal got to you!
Logging ain't just about swinging a big axe. It's about knowing what to chop.
When you're green, aim for Dry Trees. You'll find them in Windreach Woods and Dusktide Forest. Sometimes in Skylight Grassland and Sunweave Glade.
When you're as tough as a trunk, you can handle Old Magic Trees or Ancient Magic Trees.
And trust me, you want to be tough when you chop those.
On an average day, you'll get Tree Roots, Wood, Stone Bark, or Heartwood.
If you're lucky, you might get Mana Resin, Amber, Transparent Leaves, or Giant Feathers.
You look capable. How about lending a hand?
Stand tall and show some respect. Now let's get to work, soldier.
If this were 10 years ago, I might have taken him down a peg myself!
The Windreach Woods are as thick as a goblin army's line.
