Ah, the timeless question!

On one hand, I'm quite frustrated.

The technology here in Elan is... primitive, compared to Yorner.

It's significantly slowing down my search...

On the other hand, I just finished documenting a rare species of bioluminescent fungi.

The mutations there are unlike anything I've seen back home - endless opportunities for research!

Of course, science doesn’t always go as planned. I had to discharge my shotgun into my last experiment.

I suppose it truly is eat or be eaten here.

Ah, my humble haven of horticulture!

Essentially, it's a makeshift lab not quite up to standard Novator decorum, but it does the job.

I grew this entire house myself from experimental fast-growth vines.

Practically every wall and corner here has evolved, thanks to my bio-modification skills.

And yes, some of these plants are both my roommates and my research subjects.

Watch your step, some of them like to give impromptu greetings, tentacles and all!

Not right now, my experiment is in a critical phase.

I'm just waiting for these specimens to react.
