The Withercrypt

Choked by creeping ivy and shadowed by twisted, gnarled trees, this overgrown graveyard lies forgotten behind rusting iron gates. Time has buried most of the headstones beneath moss and roots, but a single stone crypt remains untouched at its centre, silent, sealed, and cold. No name marks its surface, only a faint sigil etched in worn relief. Locals avoid the place, claiming the wind doesn’t blow there, and nothing buried in its soil stays at rest for long.
