Desert Diplomacy

They bring only darkness.

We're in a real bind here, and I could use someone of your calibre.

The Steppes are on the brink of an ecological collapse, and I fear it's only a matter of time before everything falls apart.

Those so-called ecological scientists lurking around I've got a bad feeling about their true intentions.

But with that relic, we might unlock technologies that could change Kwalat forever.

There's a native named Zor living out in the northern wasteland desert. He's an odd one, but I've heard he knows more about this land than anyone else.

Problem is, he keeps to himself, and none of my people have been able to get through to him.

Time is of the essence. Equip yourself and set out as soon as you're ready.

May the energies of Kwalat guide you on this quest.

Glad to have you on board. This means a lot.

That's disappointing, but I understand.

I see. If you change your mind, we'll be here.

Alright then. Stay safe out there.

Do you have the artefact in your possession?

Hmm?... Stranger comes to Zor's home?

You worry for... the land, yes?

Zor feels... the imbalance too... The earth whispers its pain.

Very well, Zor will share his secrets... For the good of Kwalat.

I need you to find Zor and persuade him to share whatever he knows about what's happening to our environment.

Time's running short, and without his insight, we might not be able to stop this impending disaster.

I appreciate your willingness to help. Safe travels.

Thank you. You're making a difference.

Why you seek Zor... in these quiet sands?
