This rich asshole just purchased power armour from a Quaddari inventor and intends to use it to save people - although he has zero combat experience or ability. He is likely going to get himself killed. He's a bit of an iron man parody, and is drunk when you find him. He's already been flying around "saving" people - although he's failed every single attempt in comedic ways. He was born in Riverrise, and does genuinely want to save the town to make it a better place for his mother. After the joining the lightbearers, he's found purpose - and been forced to quit his alcoholism. They shipped him up north after he got several civilians killed in a rescue operation. He thinks he's "sober" because he switched to just drinking wine.
