Abandoned Campsite

A cold fire pit smoulders with the memory of meals long past. Locals say that the last occupants never left, taken by the lake itself or some other misfortune. A few soggy footprints lead to the water’s edge and vanish, leaving only questions: did they drown, run, or get dragged somewhere… else?
