Bernie, its last inhabitant and self-declared overseer, imposed such ludicrously strict regulations that his neighbours spiralled into madness, many choosing to torch their own homes with themselves inside rather than obey another decree.

Now utterly alone, Bernie obsessively catalogues the ashes, convinced he can rebuild the town to perfection… if only he can find the right investors. He eagerly pitches the ruins to passing adventurers, speaking of “limitless potential” while stepping over the toys, furniture, and charred mementos of the families he helped destroy.
