A Blooming Melon-drama

But I've got a plan, see? A gorgeous red rose and a beautiful song from the heart.

So, you're back! Did you find 'em?

You're a lifesaver! Grab that guitar and rose before I lose my nerve again.

Maybe I'll even get a glimpse of her melons, ya know what I mean.

Here, take this. It's a piece of my prized watermelon crop. You earned it.

And a little gold for your trouble. Thank you, truly.

I've been growin' these watermelons with all my heart, but there's somethin' I've been wantin' to grow even more- Martha - and her melons.

The problem is, every time I try to talk to her, my courage wilts like a dying flower.

Whatcha say? Can you help me out one more time? For love?

With this flower and guitar, Martha will finally get a glimpse of how much she means to me.

Ah, that's a shame. Thought you might be up for some flower pickin'.

No worries, friend. If you change your mind, I'll be here with my melons.

Well, alright then. Maybe Martha's heart will wait a little longer.

My water system ain t the only thing that s got pipes. The problem is I lent my guitar to Jahri. He probably still has it.

And that red rose I mentioned well they re pretty difficult to find in the brush here. A good one at least.
