Behind Enemy Lines

So while you were gone, Alaric turned that cursed little artifact you made over to the captain. He just wanted to suck up, despite me telling him the thing was cursed.

We need to find his notes to determine where he might have gone. I hate to admit it, but your skills could be useful here.

Themis is inconsolable, and he's preventing me from properly doing my duty.

Look around the fort, find any notes the captain took before leaving, and bring them to Tharkon - I'm a bit tied up.

Walk away then. Hope you're ready to reap the consequences.

Fine, leave. Just remember, dark magic doesn't care about excuses.

You're seriously leaving us hanging? Good luck not getting cursed.

I suppose I'll need your help to stop this...

Lo and behold, the captain is possessed and running into the woods 10 minutes later.

They're trying to destabilize us. Typical Quaddari tactics, always aiming to sow chaos.

The notes suggest the captain is being drawn to a ritual site deeper into the woods, likely a strategic move by those Quaddari scum.

So, it s as I suspected. This artifact has Quaddari sabotage all over it.

Did anyone see you coming here? Show me what you've got, quickly!

We're dancing with evil shit here. Grab the leaves, pronto.

Perfect. These leaves should help me calm the Captain down.

While you were gathering these, I found out through a source what is happening and why they targeted the Captain.

Look around the fort, search the captain's trunks for any of those Calming Leaves, and bring them to Tharkon - I'm a bit tied up.

We need to find the Calming Leaves that he crushes up into powder... it might simmer him down a little. I hate to admit it, but your skills could be useful here.
