Deserted Hopes

They say a fortress built on courage is stronger than any army. Or was it 'built with actual rocks'? Either way, we should start reinforcing this place!

I've bravely faced down giants and tamed wild beasts or so the stories go but this whole desert situation has me a tad... concerned.

If we channel the spirit of the ancient heroes like, uh, that one guy who held back the ocean with a broom we can make this base unbreakable!

So, what do you say? Join me in turning this humble outpost into a legendary stronghold! Together, we've got this... I hope!

And uh... maybe ask Mary Jane how we do that. Because I have no fuckin' idea.

Maybe the legends are right heroes like me are just myths.

I thought I could inspire others, but perhaps I'm not meant to lead.

It's best if I step aside; I only bring disappointment.

My stories are just tales; they can't help us now.

Absolutely! Together we'll stand tall like that giant... uh, tree I once saw! We'll make this place legendary!

But mostly, Mary Jane will.

Whoa, hey dude! When the fuck did you get here?

Whoa, thanks for dropping by, dude!

You know, chatting with you makes the trees seem even greener, man.

Maybe sticking around with these volunteer folks is like, meant to be or something.

Hey, take this scroll it's got some far-out wisdom that'll help you lead others on a righteous path.

Let's totally band together and spread some good vibes to heal this groovy planet!

I already have a good idea how we can start, man...
