Bowman Guard
Dialogue
Hey, pal.
Yo, bub.
What's cookin'?
How ya doin'?
Eh, got a minute?
Look who it is!
You in a hurry?
Well, well, well...
The name's Bronco Rivers, but folks 'round here call me "Bowman.
Used to roll the dice in fancier places, ya know what I'm sayin'?
Now, I keep an eye on this here pier, makin' sure no funny business goes down.
Let's just say, luck ain't always been on my side.
Ended up in Windstone after, uh, a 'little incident' in another joint.
Got myself a job as a pier guard, not exactly where I pictured I'd be, but here we are.
Ah, you know, life's a mixed bag out here.
Trying to keep things straight on this pier ain't always easy.
Last night, I lost big in a card game. Again. Can't catch a break.
These ungrateful fishermen, they ain't too fond of me.
I'm just keeping 'em safe... for a nominal fee, of course.
But hey, it's a living, right? Just gotta roll with the punches.
'Ol Finns, he gives me the heebie-jeebies with his fish obsession. Can t figure that guy out.
This place? Oh, this here is Windstone Village, see?
Quiet lil' town where folks grow crops and tinker 'bout.
We got a bunch of hardworking dwarves and brownies livin' 'round here, keepin' things movin'.
This pier? It's where the fishers come in and out, all day, every day.
But lemme tell ya, there s more goin' on than meets the eye, capisce?
We got strange new folks poppin' in from other worlds 'cause of some fancy portal.
It ain't no big city, but we get by. So watch your step and play nice, got it?
Don t worry, it ain't illegal... technically.
Lookin for action?
Well, well, a volunteer!
I got just the thing, capisce?
Look at you, ready to dive in.
I got a lil' task for ya.
How d ya guess?
I got a job with your name on it, buddy.
Ah, lookin' to score some points, huh?
Ain't none of your concern, slick.
This ain t a charity, pal. Scram.
Nothing, unless you wanna be fish food.
Don t need another body to clean up.
Nah, no need for muscle right now, buddy.
Forget about it, I got it handled.
Ain't no trouble here, capisce?
Thanks, but no dice, pal.
I m good, but thanks.
No need for ya, wise guy. All handled here.
