Windstone Mohawk
Dialogue
Hey there. Sit and set a spell.
You look nice. Have some wheat or whatever.
Do I know you? You seem familiar.
You found me just before I was going to nap. Maybe come back later?
Name's Eric. Folks call me lazy, but I prefer laid-back.
I'm Gregory the Farmer's son. Yeah, the one who's always shoutin' my name.
The old man's blind now. Love him, but I'll never take his place. Too much work.
I'm not one for hard work, but I'm good with those weird artifacts in the basement. The best course is to leave them alone, which is what I'm best at.
Seen my half-brother Eddie? Bro is pissed because I'm inheriting the farm and not him. "Take it up with the Brownie ancestors," I tell him. "They made the stupid law, not me or Dad.
Anyway, he'll end up running the farm when Dad's gone. I'm sure not up for all that work!
Could be worse. Dad's shoutin' again, so there's that.
Got a nice nap in earlier, so I'm alright.
Eddie's doing most of the farm work. I'm just trying to stay out of his way.
Same old, same old. Just kickin' back, really.
Want to go down to the tavern, maybe listen to some tunes, quaff a few ales?
This here is our family farm. Mostly quiet, except when Eddie's workin' or Dad's shoutin'.
The farm's got some weird stuff, like those dangerous artifacts in the basement.
Now that Dad's blind, Eddie keeps it all running.
He seems to enjoy it, so I let him. It's not like I know anything much about farming anyway.
If you're looking for work, you might want to talk to Eddie. I'm just here for the naps.
Sure, if you're offering, there's probably something Dad wants done.
Well, since you asked. There is this one thing.
Appreciate it. How are you at actual work?
Yeah, why not? Anything to avoid Dad's shouting.
Nah, I've got nothing pressing right now.
Thanks, but I'm good. Really. Just relaxing.
Appreciate it, but I'm managing just fine.
No, I'm all set here. But thanks!
