JOURNAL

Silas Whitlock
Riverrise, Hidden Chest

Assist Silas Whitlock in dealing with the Fungus that keeps digging up his buried chest.

Notes

If I end up digging the same hole one more time, I might start charging rent to the Fungus! Ten Fungus. That's all. I'm starting to wonder if they have a union.

Dialogue

NPC

With this done, I can finally focus on my real job.

NPC

You'd think by now I'd have this chest buried, but no, those Fungus keep ruining my plans.

NPC

You're a gem! My back can't handle another night of re-dug soil.

NPC

You've no idea how much I appreciate this. My evenings just opened up!

NPC

Here's your reward. And the evidence... er, treasure? Oh, it's definitely buried this time!

NPC

Finally, maybe now I can retire my shovel.

NPC

I swear if one more of those fungi pop up, I'm moving to the desert. What's the status?

NPC

It's almost like they have a personal vendetta against me or something. Every night, same old routine: they dig, I try to bury.

NPC

If you could take care of about 10 of them, maybe just maybe I can finally get this chest to stay put.

NPC

So you're fine with me growing old and gray out here, huh?

NPC

Guess I'll just keep groundhog digging every night.

NPC

You have no idea what my chiropractor bills look like.
