But no matter the tale, one thing remains constant: Madame Mirage is convinced she’s the real deal, even if her spells sometimes backfire spectacularly, leaving her students covered in glitter or inexplicably speaking in rhymes. Despite the mishaps, Madame Mirage is beloved for her eccentricity, and the townspeople wouldn’t have it any other way. She wandered out of the desert and has been hanging around the outpost for unknown reasons - although the people think she's there to help.
