Rancor K'Zar is a bandit posing as part of an ecological group researching the growth of the wasteland. He was exiled to Kwalat, then from Riverrise, and now is set up in the northern wasteland running a grift. He posted the king pretending to be an ecological researcher and claimed that the wasteland was expanding. He knows bugger all about science, but is great at making up scientific jabble to make his studies seem fair dinkum. He would've quit the grift yonks ago, but the lightbearers showed up to his outpost – now he has to keep bullshitting and try not to get caught.
