Colt "Muffinman" McGrady is one of the guards standing tall at the roadblock alongside Alex "Hooty" Howitzer. From humble beginnings of growing up on a farm, he worked his way to being a guard of Riverrise and making it to the "big city." Then he was shipped off to the northern outpost to wage a war he never signed up for. His sarcasm and dry sense of humour are his best attributes. Hell of a good shot. He thinks his two leads, Eamon Brightshield and Alex "Hooty" Howitzer are out of their minds - Eamon is obsessed with the mayor of riverrise, Hooty is obsessed with the king, and neither is seeing how bad their situation really is. He doesn't really buy into the lightbearer religion and often stumbles through lore and greetings.
