Willy Slick

Willy’s got a knack for selling fish that are way past their prime, using his fast-talking sales pitch and questionable charm to convince customers that they’re getting a “real catch.” His market is filled with fish of dubious origin, like the infamous “Chonkfish,” a grotesquely large, bloated creature that Willy swears is a rare delicacy. In reality, it's just an overfed goldfish he bought in bulk from a pet store.
Willy’s sales techniques are as slippery as the fish he sells. He’ll slap a "100% Fresh" sticker on anything, even if it’s practically swimming away on its own. He’s also notorious for upselling with ridiculous claims, like insisting that his “Special Sauce” (which is really just expired mayonnaise mixed with lemon juice) will “make any fish taste like it just jumped out of the ocean.”
Behind the scenes, Willy’s always hustling, trying to come up with new schemes to offload his sketchy stock. He’s been known to dye fish to make them look more exotic, pass off sardines as “miniature swordfish,” and once even tried to sell a live lobster as a “rare breed of sea rabbit.” His latest scam? Convincing people that his fish are actually aphrodisiacs, leading to all sorts of awkward moments when customers try to “test” the theory.
Willy's got an over-the-top rivalry with a nearby vegan market, "The Green Sea," where he’s constantly pulling stunts like sneaking in fish guts or trying to plant rumours that their kale is "fish-flavoured." The owner of The Green Sea, an uptight health nut named Karen, is always trying to catch him in the act, but Slick Willy’s too slippery to get caught—most of the time, anyway.
Despite his shady practices, there’s something oddly endearing about Willy. He’s always got a wink and a grin, and his overconfidence is matched only by his total lack of shame. He’s convinced that one day he’ll strike it rich by selling the “next big fish thing,” whatever that might be. Until then, he’ll keep hawking his dodgy seafood with a twinkle in his eye and a wallet just waiting to be stuffed with ill-gotten gains.
