Sword in the Skull

Deep within the heart of Windreach Woods, a colossal skeleton lies, its bones fused around stone and time. Driven clean through its skull is a massive, weathered greatsword, its blade still gleaming faintly despite all of the decay. No one agrees on who struck the killing blow. Some say it was a god, others whisper it was the first portal hopper to arrive on Kwalat, or maybe something far older. The locals call it the Sword in the Skull, and treat it like a monument… or a warning. According to legend, the blade can’t be removed until the one “worthy of unmaking monsters” arrives. Plenty have tried, from mercenaries, mystics, and even the occasional cultist, but all failed.
