Rancor K'Zar is a bandit posing as part of an ecological group researching the growth of the wasteland. He was exiled to Kwalat, then from Riverrise, and now is set up in the northern wasteland running a grift. He mailed the king pretending to be an ecological researcher and claimed that the wasteland was expanding. He knows very little about science, but is great at making up scientific jabble to make his studies seem real. He would've quit the grift a while ago, but the lightbearers showed up to his outpost - now he has to keep bullshitting and try not to get caught.
