This character used to be one of the mayor's personal guards. Ironically, he has never actually met the mayor - he only knows about him secondhand. After seeing one of the other guards die recently, he is starting to question whether the mayor is even real. He thinks there may be a conspiracy all the way to the top of Riverrise. His questioning got him "volunteered" for the war effort up north. While investigating the north, he discovered a cursed sword - one that is now controlling him. The sword is pretending to be a regular human, and is trying to escape the north, he can disappear forever with the body it is possessing.
