These meanings match the crafting planner, merchant prices, and talent planner as they work today. A term here is not a new game rule.
- Direct ingredients
- The materials named on the recipe you selected for an item, in the counts that recipe uses for one batch.
- Recursive total
- Direct ingredients plus the materials required to craft those ingredients, after every parent’s demand is added and batches are rounded up.
- Batch
- One craft of a recipe. The recipe’s output count is how many of the item that craft produces.
- Shortage
- How many of an item you still need after the amount you marked as on hand is subtracted once.
- Known-price subtotal
- The sum of your own quotes for shortage lines that have a price. Lines left blank stay out of this sum.
- Complete total
- The known-price subtotal only when every shortage has a quote and no crafting loop is still unresolved.
- Gold hundredths
- Vendor prices and typed quotes count hundredths of a gold piece. 100 hundredths equal 1 gold.
- Vendor price
- A possible buy price for a merchant. It is not a promise that the merchant is selling the item right now, and it is not your personal quote.
- Talent refund
- Taking a point back with −. The planner refuses that refund when a talent you still have depends on the point.
